We are a solutions-focused commercial finance company providing capital and advisory services to middle market companies throughout the United States. We and our predecessors have been active investors in the middle market since 1990 and have invested over $5.3 billion in approximately 500 transactions. Our debt investments include senior and subordinated securities, substantially all of which include a security interest. Our equity investments include preferred stock, common stock, and warrants, and, in many cases, will include the right to board representation.
MCG is an internally managed, non-diversified, closed-end investment company that has elected to be regulated as a business development company under the investment Company Act of 1940 and taxed as a regulated investment company under the Internal Revenue Code.
